CROSSTALK OVERVIEW

SYSTEM INTEGRATION EASE

It is the first platform to utilize "Expert Systems" to learn and aggregate disparate control systems and databases.  The entire platform is designed to quickly and easily integrate all of the tools a facility uses.  Because work is done so quickly, your costs are reduced.

The CrossTalk platform can be used to manage older as well as more modern control systems.

Combining the powerful ipLOGIX controller with the protocol capabilities of controlVUE allows you to manage all of your systems like they are made by one manufacturer.

SCALABILITY

The platform utilizes parallel computing techniques that allow it to form interconnected grids of control and computing.  The platform is priced according to size.  This makes it competitive for both small and massive projects.

SPEED

The system is incredibly fast.  Over 10,000 points per second can be moved into the processing grid.  A grid can be as small as one server or as large as many servers.  Big systems act like small systems.

CONTROL

All controllers are Modbus-based.  This allows interoperability with most facility products including lighting, VFD's, boiler controllers, etc.  The flex line of controllers range from tiny 4 x 4 devices to Ethernet-based controllers that can handle thousands of points.  The configuration tools self-discover all points.  Programming is done by simply dragging points and functions onto the page.  Real-time charts are provided for system startup and tuning. 

DOCUMENT HANDLING

CrossTalk is capable of organizing the information you need to operate your facility.  This information is then web-enabled.  Now AutoCAD drawings, websites, technical manuals, etc. can be organized and easily accessed. 

CONTINUOUS COMMISSIONING - ENERGY REDUCTION

Saving energy, while making your facility more comfortable, is what The CrossTalk Platform does best. We are a "Charter Life Member" of the Association of Energy Engineers since 1988.

All points are monitored and logged every few seconds. The CrossTalk Platform is capable of handling over 10,000 points per second. Spider-like control algorithms search the facility for areas that require the most energy. CrossTalk is continuously computing the optimal energy curves for each piece of equipment. Only enough energy is allowed into the mechanical system to keep the facility comfortable. The mass of the building is also used as a heat sink. Tremendous amounts of energy can be saved during the spring and fall. Some areas of the world can constantly use these algorithms. Energy reductions of 50 to 60 percent are common.

Standard reset algorithms are also used including time of day, time of year, outside temperature and demand based functions.

CrossTalk controls work on all buildings, no matter what control system is in place. CrossTalk controls are able to integrate most every manufacturer. Interoperating lighting, CCTV, access, and HVAC is easy. By integrating these systems, you only need to heat and illuminate the areas that are occupied. Energy is only used when and where needed.

"Statistical Process Control" concepts are utilized throughout the pharmaceutical and petroleum industries to ensure product quality and mechanical system fitness.

SPC applications involve measuring key characteristics of different aspects of the mechanical system, establishing baselines and tracking these key characteristics.
